Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. This is to maintain the high quality of the papers published in this journal and ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the research reports.

  1. All submitted manuscripts will first be reviewed by the editor-in-chief. The editor-in-chief will check whether the manuscript contains plagiarism. Once a manuscript is found to have plagiarism, it may be rejected.
  2. After the plagiarism check is completed and the results are satisfactory, the editor-in-chief will hand over the manuscript to the academic editor. Academic editors will pre-review the sustainability of the article's subsequent process, such as scientific innovation, consistency with the journal field, and completeness of the article. Typically, the academic editor is referred to as the Editor-in-Chief in the case of regular submissions or as the Guest Editor in the case of special issue submissions. Academic editors shall not participate in any review process for manuscripts that may involve a conflict of interest, and the editorial office will designate an editorial board member who does not have a conflict of interest as a substitute. Submissions that pass the pre-check stage will be forwarded to the peer review process by the Academic Editor.
  3. At least 2 independent external reviewers will be selected based on their expertise and suitability for the manuscript topic. Reviewers should feedback their comments and suggestions (acceptance, need for revision, resubmission for review, or rejection) to the academic editor.
  4. The reports of the external reviewers and the review comments of the academic editor are recommended to the editor-in-chief, who will make the final decision on the paper. The editor-in-chief will inform the authors of his decision and add comments to the authors to improve their research or paper.
  • If the decision is made to accept the submission (no revisions required by the author), the manuscript will be sent to production.
  • If the Editor-in-Chief suggests that revisions are needed (minor revisions), the author will have up to 2 weeks to revise and resubmit the article.
  • If the Editor-in-Chief recommends resubmission for review (major revision), the author will have up to 4 weeks to revise and resubmit the article for a second round of review.
  • If a decision is made to reject a submission, the author will be notified, the rejected manuscript will be archived, and the peer review process will be completed.
  1. Accepted papers will undergo copy editing, format editing and proofreading before publication. At this stage, correspondence takes place between the author and editor to improve the language and/or appearance of the article. After the production phase is completed, the author needs to review the final version of the PDF file before the article is published. Global Scientific Research Publisher will register a DOI for an article upon publication and the article will be immediately available to the public.
  2. Authors may appeal rejected submissions. Appeal requests must be made by writing an email to the journal editorial office (journals.gsr@gmail.com) and attaching the detailed reasons for the appeal and a point-by-point response to the reviewers' comments. Appeal decisions are final and will not be considered further.

Note: Authors can recommend reviewers (relevant information should be provided, such as name, personal link, email address, etc.). The editorial office decides whether to invite recommended reviewers. Authors also have the right to provide recusal lists.
