Erratum, Withdrawal & Retraction Policy

Erratum

All changes introduced by the publisher will be highlighted to the author at the proofing stage and any errors will ideally be identified by the author and corrected by the publisher before final publication. If readers, authors, editors, etc. discover any errors in a published article, please contact the journal editor.

It should be noted that errors made by the editor are called errata, and errors made by the author are called errata. However, corrigendums and corrections do not affect the correctness of the research logic and results.

Global Scientific Research Publisher will publish corrigendums or corrections to published articles only after receiving approval and instructions from the editor.

Withdrawal of submission

If an author changes their mind and decides not to publish their paper in a journal, they must write a letter to the journal editor explaining the reason for withdrawing the submission. Author-initiated retractions must be approved by all co-authors. The decision to withdraw a manuscript will ultimately be made by the journal editors (including the Editor-in-Chief).

Retracting a paper that has already been peer-reviewed or is in the process of being peer-reviewed is relatively more difficult than retracting a newly submitted paper because editors and reviewers spend considerable time and effort in the editorial process and manuscript evaluation, respectively. To retract a peer-reviewed paper, authors should clearly demonstrate their views on scientific grounds; only valid and reasonable grounds will be accepted. Authors are also required to pay a penalty ($100). Authors are advised to remember that articles should be retracted only if the authors discover significant errors or flaws, as retracting an article after sending it for peer review is not acceptable practice. Once a retraction is approved, the submission will be removed from the journal's online submission system and a retraction confirmation email will be sent to the author. The withdrawal process is considered complete once the author receives confirmation of withdrawal from the journal editorial office.

Accepted papers that have not been officially published can also be withdrawn, including newly accepted papers and published articles.

Retractions of accepted papers and published articles are usually initiated by the editor. The reasons for withdrawing accepted papers and articles in publication are similar to those for withdrawing published articles (see "Retractions"), and the article will not be scheduled for article production or finalization at this stage. A panel will be formed to investigate allegations of misconduct. If the allegations are proven true and supported by evidence, the accepted paper or article for publication will be marked as retracted, and any appeals regarding the panel's decision must be made to the publisher within 14 days of the date of the decision. If the author does not appeal within 14 days, the submission will be removed from the journal's online submission system and a retraction confirmation email will be sent to the author.

Retraction

Readers may contact the Editorial Office to report possible academic misconduct, that is, ethical violations in research and publication, regardless of the severity of the issues. Misconduct and illegal activities include plagiarism, falsification of research, falsification of data, passing someone else’s manuscript as your own, submitting the same manuscript to different publication venues at the same time, infringement of intellectual property rights, etc. Once suspected misconduct and ethical violations are brought to the publisher's attention, journal editors will organize an investigation, and authors must cooperate with the investigation. A team will be organized to investigate the allegations. If the allegations are proven true and supported by evidence, the published article will be marked as HTML and PDF retracted, and a notification email regarding the panel's decision will be sent to all authors of the work. Any appeal from a panel decision must be made to the publisher within 14 days of the date of the decision. If the author does not file an appeal within 14 days, an article retraction confirmation email will be sent to the author.

Authors should note that article processing fees paid will not be refunded if their article is retracted or retracted due to academic misconduct and ethical violations in research and publication.
